s told a different story. According to E! Online on Jan. 19, NBC wants to capitalize on that success with another live musical. This time they are planning Peter Pan.
NBC boss Robert Greenblatt said the story will receive a live adaptation and said, We had so much doing a big musical that the family could watch over the holidays, so were going to do it again.
No casting has been set but when asked who he’d like to see in the lead, Greenblatt said I want Miley Cyrus! He went to say that he would be coy about the casting as the project is too new at this point. He added, however, Get ready fo

Greenblatt later released the following statement:
Were very pleased to be underway on Peter Pan as our next live holiday musical for the whole family. In the hopes that lightning strikes twice, we think weve landed on another great Broadway musical — which ironically also starred Mary Martin—that is a timeless classic for all audiences, young and old, who just never want to grow up.
